The new Mini Rocketman is manna from heaven for critics who bemoan the new BMW Mini’s growth spurt from bijou city car to bloated supersized mini. The Rocketman, Mini’s 2011 Geneva motor show debutant, is a blueprint for a new kind of smaller Mini – and it’s within an inch or two of Alec Issignois’s 1959 original. SMS Supercars released illustrations this week of its new performance Mustang, which will start at $64,990 for the coupe. SMS is Steve Saleen's new venture, and it is planning two main versions based on the 2010 'Stang. A 470-hp model, the SMS 460, is the “base” car, and a convertible version is $69,990.
